The RRB Group D selection process consists of four stages:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Only those who qualify in CBT will be called for PET.

For Male Candidates:

  • Carry 35 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes (without putting it down).
  • Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.

For Female Candidates:

  • Carry 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes (without putting it down).
  • Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

Note: PET is qualifying in nature. PwD candidates are exempted but must pass a medical test.

Document Verification & Medical Test

  • After PET, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
  • Final selection is based on medical fitness as per the standards set by the Railway Board.
